DMCA copyright notices

Send a copyright notice to hi@insigner.co. Include the work, the location, and a statement under penalty of perjury.

Updated September 29, 2026Effective September 29, 2026

On this page
  1. Where to send a notice
  2. What a notice should include
  3. What we may do
  4. Counter-notice

In short

  • Notices go to hi@insigner.co with the subject “Copyright notice”.
  • We may remove material and tell the customer who uploaded it.
  • Accounts with repeated valid notices may be closed.

01Where to send a notice

If you believe material in an inSigner workspace or on this website infringes a copyright or other intellectual property right you own, email hi@insigner.co with the subject “Copyright notice”. This contact is the address for notices. It is not, by itself, a statement that a designated agent has been registered with the U.S. Copyright Office.

02What a notice should include

Under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act, a notice should include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • The work you claim is infringed.
  • The material you want removed, and enough detail for us to find it, such as the document name and the account or link.
  • Your name, address, email, and telephone number.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the owner.

Notices from outside the United States, including under the EU Digital Services Act, are welcome in the same way and are handled under the acceptable use policy. Knowingly false notices can make the sender liable for damages.

03What we may do

We may remove or disable access to the material, and we may tell the customer who uploaded it, with the reasons. We close, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of repeat infringers.

04Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. Include your signature, identification of the material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was the result of mistake or misidentification, and your name, address, and telephone number. Also include a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the district where your address is located, or the District of Delaware if you are outside the United States, and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.

We may restore the material if the person who notified us does not file a court action within the time United States law provides. This page does not give legal advice about whether a notice or a counter-notice is valid.

Questions about this policy go to hi@insigner.co.
